The Girl With the Pattern Tattoo

Brook Fung, the creative mind behind Peeko Apparel, is a regular staple of Market Collective – she’s become synonymous with the Market Collective brand. In a small fashion community like Calgary, her brand is really easy to distinguish – turbans, piercings, and tattoos – noting that all of these come in plurals.  That being said, she’s a creative soul on her own. She explores form, fabric, and the combination of patterns.

According to her Etsy, Peeko Apparel is “Upcycled Apparel Eco Conscious Clothing”. Peeko Apparel is entirely designed and created by Brook herself, and she’s making herself known in Calgary.

CUBIST – Gold Brass Geometric Cubes and Square Necklace is our favorite Peeko Apparel accessory.

Black and White Formalities

Our favorite trio, KRUHX, starting a movement and making changes, while looking fierce.  Kruhx is Garrett, Yana, and Jordan – three people who will change how you create.

Vancouver Fashion Week: Street Style

In the crowd at Vancouver Fashion Week Fall’11:

Downtown with Rae Spoon

While walking along Stephen Avenue, we spotted singer/songwriter Rae Spoon, who was in town for the TransCanada Alberta Music Series. Actually it was his monogrammed leather flap backpack and fur flap hat that caught our eye.
