Faby Martin and Video Interviews

Faby Martin:

If you’ve ever been to a Calgary fashion event you’ve probably seen Faby’s work, she has photographed for Calgary Fashion, Alberta Fashion Week, PARK SHOW, and Conglomerate Magazine. She is an amazingly open, honest, and real artist who focuses on exploring innocence, fragility, and movement through photography. She makes a point of staying away from wedding photography in order to maintain her artistic integrity and she definitely isn’t snobby, if that’s what you’re thinking. Make sure you check out her site by clicking here. Her work has a real authenticity to it – a truthful curiousity and appreciation for natural beauty (she prefers the organic movements of ordinary humans rather than experienced models).

Anyways, I just glorified her for a paragraph because we have a video documentary coming up shortly on the beauty of her work, so stay tuned.

I think we forgot to mention that we’re starting to explore video interviews and it all began thanks to KRUHX. So yes, we have two videos coming up shortly, KRUHX and Faby Martin.

Below are Boyhood’s favorite shots by Faby (all pictures are from www.FabyMartin.com):

While the Weather Changes, Our Emotions Remain the Same

A while back I spent a cold afternoon in Regina with Kristina and Vanessa from Rah Rah. We had tea, laughed at cats, forced a cat to play the keyboard, and managed to have a photo shoot in a house with a broken furnace.
